1969 Aquanaut

The Aquanaut (7910) was designed for adventure on the seven seas.  His uniform was unique, featuring a fine weave black turtleneck and black pants with patch pockets in the front.  His cap is reused from the Action Sailor.  The Aquanaut seems to have been short packed, and the box is one of the toughest basic figure boxes to find.

The detail picture (right) shows the patch pockets on the Aquanaut's pants.  Occasionally these same pants show up in the first Adventure Team release of "Secret Mission to Spy Island."  Other than that repackaging they black pants with pockets are unique to this set.
