Inflatables
Hasbro had been in the business of creating school supplies like pencil cases and binders long before the days of GI Joe. In consequence, they already had machinery or overseas contacts to seal together vinyl and flexible plastics. In a thrifty move to keep their existing department busy, they created a line of inflatable toys with GI Joe themes. As you might imagine, these are tough to find today, and bring high prices in the original packaging.
The Enemy Bop Bag
Fans of 3.75" GI Joe know that Cobra is often labelled "The Enemy." It's interesting to see that Hasbro trademarked that phrase back in 1965, and used it on this Bop Bag and a target set. You're looking at Cobra Commander's dad here.
