Talking Adventure Team Commander (Black)

It took until 1973 for it to happen, but a black figure eventually made it to leadership of the Adventure Team.  The black version of the Talking Adventure Team Commander uses the same head sculpt as the earlier Adventurer, but adds a flocked beard for a commanding look.  By this time the uniform has been reduced to a two-pocket version.  He uses the same recording as the white version.  Listen to it by playing the audio track above.

The box tinted the skin of figures in the side panel art to match the new Commander's skin tone.  Commands were listed on the box insert shown below left.
