Hidden Missile Discovery

Hidden Missile Discovery (7415) was released in 1970 and was valuable at least through 1973, but is one of the toughest to find of the Adventure Team window boxes.  Apparently Hasbro had bigger plans for the Talking Astronaut, with a vehicle called the Space-a-matic and a space telescope in development, but ended up just with this set, Flying Space Adventure, and the 1970 version of Spacewalk Mystery before pulling the plug on GI Joe's space program.  This set is essentially identical to the 1969 version, though the suit is universally the single zipper version and the helmet lacks the paint details and is plain white.  This gear made a final bow in 1974's Peril of the Raging Inferno where it mysteriously morphed into fire fighting gear.   Note that the propellant gun and metal detector in the spin above have the painted details of earlier releases.  The window box below show's the set's properly undetailed versions.
