Action Joe State Trooper & Motorcycle

Like the Race Car, the State Trooper (5300) bike is one of the toughest GI Joe items to find.  The blue plastic gets extremely brittle, and most sets one finds are smashed.  The bike has been reproduced, so be carful when buying.

The State Trooper set is hard to complete, as the many accessories like the handcuffs and glasses are very fragile, or tiny and easily lost like the whistle.  Despite a warehouse find of bagged uniforms many years ago these still bring very high prices on the market.  The box is also very tough to find.

What is the small metal rod below, you ask?  It's the antenna from the radio.  Those were the days!  A gold old sharp steel rod in a kid's playset.

Note the great details  on the patch and badges below right.  Accessories (below left) include helmet, handcuffs, tickets, whistle, nightstick, glasses (mine have a missing temple piece), lebel revolver, holster, Sam Browne belt, flashlight, extinguisher, and rifle.
