Talking Man of Action with Kung Fu Grip

Still using the mechanism and box insert from the 1967 Talking Action Soldier, the 1974 Talking Man of Action (7292) now sported Kung Fu Grip.  It's interesting to consider why the Army phrases lasted so long.  The Talking Soldier mechanism is by far the most common of the talkers.  Did Hasbro vastly over produce them in the beginning, or continue to make them even after the military line had ended?  While the original 1970 version came in blonde, the 1974 KFG example seems to only have come in brunette.  Listen to his commands by playing the audio clip above!
